Speedometer App
Synosure Tech ("we," "us," or "our") built Speedometer as an ad-supported application. The app is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be accessed, processed, collected, or shared when you use the Speedometer app. Information We Use 1. Location Data Speedometer uses your device's location to provide its core speed and trip-tracking features. The app may request: Precise or approximate location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) to calculate your current speed, trip distance, maximum speed, average speed, and related trip information. Foreground location service access so an active trip can continue operating after you leave the app or turn off the screen, provided that tracking was started by you. Speedometer does not request the Android ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION permission. While active tracking is running, Android displays an ongoing foreground-service notification. Locat...
